Microsoft will be featuring the Tesla Roadster in PGR4 for those that don't know the Tesla is an 100% electric car that can go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds and go 200 miles per charge and basically run with any Ferrari, Lamborghini.
Recently a video showed up on youtube of a street racing between A Tesla Roadster, and unidentified sport bike, a Mercedes McLaren SLR, a '63 Corvette and a Ferrari F430. Since Tesla's aren't in public hands yet it wasn't known what this video was for, well it turns out The video was shot during filming for a PGR4 commercial from Microsoft that should begin airing in Mid-August. Apparently they closed off some streets and used professional drivers and the Tesla (on lone for the filming) proved to be quite an accomplished drifter thanks to its Lotus-developed chassis.
So this is the first time to my knowledge that a racing game will feature an all electric car, Al Gore will be proud ....
